British Minister for Culture to Hold Talks on Israeli Football Club Fan Ban
A law enforcement official from the West Midlands has requested an urgent review of the decision to ban the Israeli team's fans from attending the forthcoming game.
The commissioner, who oversees the police department, states that this request aims to verify whether the ban is appropriate, essential, warranted, sensible, and a balanced step to accomplish a legitimate aim.
"This must include consideration of every and any possible suitable, alternative options," Foster emphasizes.
He has also requested to examine the official ruling and suggestion from the advisory group, along with the police assessment.
The commissioner stresses, though, that the final decision rests with the advisory group and the police.
