Mohamed Salah Issues Regret to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the team after the controversy from his public comments.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match after voicing frustrations and claiming his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has refused to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the player.
Team Unity
The player stated that the team's response stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also noted that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
On-Field Response
The team's performance have been impressive in the matches since the situation. Jones believes the Salah's words were not intended to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and starting to win games.”
